Tessy Anifowoshe is the President and CEO of ‘NZURI Hair Care and Wellness Products and Solutions Hair Restoration and Wellness Center. Tessy is an entrepreneur with a passion and deep understanding of holistic, healthy hair restoration. As a Master Herbalist and certified holistic Hair and Scalp Practitioner, Tessy caters to people struggling with hair loss and scalp issues.
His product line, NZURI and SOLUTIONS Hair Care and Wellness Products made with top-quality formulas to keep hair looking and feeling healthy. NZURI is accredited by the city of Houston as an A-list Hair Care and Wellness line, and its products are featured in all H-E-B stores across the state of Texas, Amazon.com, and over 5,000 stores nationwide.
Mr. Tessy Anifowoshec, Sr. CHLP, HLP, Holistic Trichologist, serves as the President and CEO of Nzuri Hair Care and Wellness Products, as well as Solutions Hair Restoration and Wellness Clinic. With credentials as a Certified Scalp Micro Pigmentation Artist (SMP) and expertise as a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his roles.
How It Started
Tessy's Path: From Immigrant to Pioneer of Health and Wellness
Early Beginnings
In the 1990s, Tessy Anifowoshe embarked on his American journey with nothing but $50 and an unwavering ambition to be his own boss. Rejecting the conventional 9-5 routine, he seized the opportunity to join Herbalife, a prominent health and wellness direct sales company, as a distributor. Tessy took a significant step forward by opening his first Vitamin Store Company, called Natural Life Vitamins.
Passion for Health and Wellness
Within a year, Tessy’s dedication and commitment were recognized when he was selected as one of only 100 distributors to receive additional product and marketing training. This milestone led to an eye-opening experience as he toured Herbalife’s corporate office and manufacturing facility for health and wellness products in California.
Establishing Nzuri Hair Care and Wellness Products
Fast forward to 2012, Tessy returned to his true passion and embarked on a courageous journey by founding Nzuri Hair Care and Wellness Products. Driven by unwavering passion and dedication, he poured his heart into meticulously formulating over 45 products. Each product was crafted with care, using a blend of natural and organic ingredients, tailored to meet the unique needs of men and women grappling with hair loss challenges.

Today, Tessy’s products are making a profound impact, available not only in H-E-B stores across Texas but also on Amazon platforms in the US and Canada, as well as in over 1000 other outlets. Through his innovative solutions, Tessy is not just offering products; he’s extending a hand of hope and confidence to those in need.

Tessy Anifowoshe is a philanthropist and actively involved member of the HCC Black History Committee. Tessy Anifowoshe is a sponsor of the yearly Houston Community College Black History Scholarship Gala, an organization that provides college scholarships for Houston-area students attending HCC. From his charity work in his local community to his unparalleled dedication to his craft, Tessy is helping people overcome more than just their hair loss – he’s helping people live genuinely happier, healthier lives.
